Miami, Fla. (August 27, 2020) — Despite workplace restrictions placed on many businesses nationwide due to COVID-19, Samaha & Associates has remotely executed four conversion jobs, including core, digital banking and debit/credit card projects, for its valued credit union clients.
“For more than 23 years, the Samaha team has tirelessly worked to provide exemplary service to our trusted credit union clients. From the inception of our firm, our ‘normal’ has been to provide services remotely,” said Sabeh Samaha, CEO of the Miami, Fla. – based Samaha & Associates. “In our line of business, we are proof-positive that working remotely is extremely effective.”
From the very beginning, Samaha said the firm’s business model has focused on working remotely from their clients’ place of work. He added that the firm’s mission statement includes the following sentiments: “Our carbon footprint will always be as low as possible” and “Our clients’ place of business is our office.”
Among clients remotely served during the pandemic is the South Pasadena, Calif. – based Priority One Credit Union, which was undertaking a core system conversion.
“In spite of the fact that our conversion process occurred as the COVID-19 pandemic was taking place and third-party vendors were not allowed to come onsite, the Samaha team kept a positive outlook. They continued to project manage and facilitate weekly communications via tele-conferencing which enabled the credit union to stay on task during a very challenging time,” said Priority One Credit Union’s President and CEO, Charles R. Wiggington Sr. “We experienced a successful outcome as a result of working with Samaha & Associates. They are a top notch organization that I highly recommend.”
Samaha said that the firm is “blessed” with the ability to work within the credit union industry and will always do everything in its power to provide maximum service and value during the pandemic, and beyond.
“As we move through this difficult period of time together as a community, we want to ensure our valued clients in the credit union industry that we are here to support you and serve your needs in every way,” said Samaha. “Now more than ever, the credit union ethos of ‘people helping people’ is so important.”
