At the 2024 America’s Credit Unions Operations and Member Experience and Technology (OMET) Council Conference, which took place in Anaheim, Calif. in October, CEO Sabeh Samaha and Managing Consultant Adam Denbo presented “Core Conversions: From Market Search to a Seamless Implementation and Beyond.” The annual conference focuses on driving innovation across the credit union industry and elevating the member experience.

Across two separate breakout sessions, Samaha and Denbo advised council members on core processing statistics and the ever evolving and competitive field of core system providers. Together the financial consultancy leaders detailed the leading challenges credit unions face when embarking on a core system conversion, including, but not limited to, vendor searches, contract negotiations, potential project pitfalls, mitigating member impact and the vast rewards associated with a successful conversion.
