Senior Consultant
Julie Hill is a Senior Consultant with Samaha & Associates, Inc. A seasoned technology professional with over four decades of credit union experience, she is a recognized leader known for her client-first approach and a strong track record of delivering innovative, forward-thinking solutions. Julie is a committed collaborator with extensive experience partnering with clients to develop and implement high-impact products tailored for credit unions. Her areas of expertise include core systems, payment processing, process improvement, and product management.
Beginning her career in the banking industry while attending high school and college, Julie gained hands-on experience in both front and back-office operations. She later served as Accounting Manager at Golden Bay Credit Union in Moffett Field, California. At this post, she led a team of accounting specialists and oversaw financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Prior to joining Samaha & Associates, Julie served as Director of Product Management at Finastra and led a team responsible for the strategic direction of the Ultradata core system. In this role, she developed product roadmaps, formulated development plans, and maintained direct communication with clients. She built and nurtured valuable relationships with internal teams and external partners. During her tenure at Finastra, Julie held several roles including training, leading core system conversions and third-party interface implementations, technical writing of end-user documentation and business requirements, providing sales support, and holding a variety of customer service positions.
A graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical Institute, Julie holds an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting. She later earned a Foundation of Leadership certificate from Finastra, a PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner designation, and the SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification. A devoted team player, Julie has been recognized for her dedication to excellence, receiving two President’s Award from Ultradata (1993, 1994), and the Finastra Customer Service & Customer Engagement Award (2016).
Residing in Queen Creek, Arizona, Julie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She never misses the annual “Sisters Trip,” which may include a cruise celebrating her beloved Green Bay Packers, wine tasting in regions around the world, or relaxing on a beach in Florida. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, completing 1000-piece puzzles, and participating in various fitness programs.
